Description
XIIW 3800W concrete grinder with 180-mm grinding cup – low-effort grinding in an upright position
Uneven concrete surfaces, stubborn tile adhesive, or old coatings are often difficult to remove with a conventional angle grinder. The XIIW 3800W concrete grinder combines a large 180-mm grinding cup with a long guide handle and supporting wheels.
This allows the machine to be guided comfortably while standing and makes it ideal for renovation, refurbishment, and floor work on concrete, screed, natural stone, and mineral building materials.
Your benefits at a glance
- Powerful 3800W motor: Suitable for demanding grinding and material removal on mineral surfaces.
- Large 180-mm grinding cup: Enables efficient processing of larger floor areas.
- 6-speed control: The speed can be adjusted to suit the surface and the application.
- Up to 6000 rpm: High material removal on concrete, screed, tile adhesive, and hard plaster.
- Low-dust operation: The enclosed extraction hood can be connected to a suitable external extraction system.
- Foldable side hood: Makes it easier to grind along walls and edges.
- Long guide handle: Enables an upright working position and reduces strain on the back and knees.
- Wheel-guided design: Supports controlled, low-effort guidance of the machine.
Efficient grinding with 180-mm grinding cup
The large grinding cup with a diameter of up to 180 mm covers a comparatively wide area with each pass. This makes the device especially suitable for floor work in garages, basements, workshops, storage rooms, and renovation projects.
The machine's own weight supports the grinding process, while the wheels and long handle make smooth guidance easier.
Suitable applications
- Grinding uneven concrete surfaces
- Processing screed and concrete products
- Removing tile adhesive and flexible adhesive
- Removing hard plaster and mortar residue
- Removing old paints and mineral coatings
- Processing suitable natural stone surfaces
- Preparing floors for new coatings or coverings
The device is intended for dry or largely dry mineral surfaces. Do not use the concrete grinder on wet surfaces unless this is expressly permitted in the operating manual.
6 speed settings for controlled operation
The speed can be set in six stages up to a maximum of 6000 rpm. This makes it possible to adapt the working speed to the hardness of the surface and the desired material removal.
- Lower settings for controlled initial grinding
- Medium settings for adhesive and coating residue
- Higher settings for greater material removal on concrete and screed
Always start at a lower speed and first check the grinding result on a small, inconspicuous area.
Low-dust operation with extraction hood
The enclosed extraction hood and the surrounding brush ring help reduce escaping grinding dust. For effective dust control, the machine must be connected to a suitable industrial vacuum cleaner or approved extraction system.
When grinding concrete and mineral building materials, fine dust may still be created despite extraction. Therefore, always wear suitable respiratory protection, safety glasses, and other personal protective equipment.
Edge grinding
For work along walls and edge areas, the side cover of the extraction hood can be opened. This allows the grinding cup to be guided closer to the edge without removing the entire protective hood.
The side hood may only be opened for edge grinding and in accordance with the operating manual.
Ergonomic floor processing
Thanks to the long guide handle, the machine can be operated in an upright position. This reduces strain on the knees and back compared with a hand-held angle grinder used directly on the floor.
The integrated wheels make it easier to move and guide the approximately 8 kg machine in a controlled manner across the work surface.

Frequently asked questions
Is the machine suitable for tile adhesive?
Yes. With the right diamond grinding cup, the machine can remove many cement-based tile and flexible adhesive residues. Actual performance depends on the hardness, composition, and layer thickness of the adhesive.
Can a vacuum cleaner be connected?
Yes. The extraction hood is designed for connection to a suitable external extraction system. For concrete dust, use an approved industrial vacuum cleaner with a suitable filter system.
Is the machine completely dust-free?
No. The extraction hood, together with a suitable extraction system, significantly reduces dust generation. However, completely dust-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
Can the machine be used on wall surfaces?
The device is primarily designed for horizontal floor surfaces. Due to its weight of around 8 kg, it is only suitable to a limited extent for longer work on vertical surfaces.
Which grinding discs are compatible?
Use only grinding tools with a maximum diameter of 180 mm, a suitable M14 mount, and an adequate speed rating.
For renovation, refurbishment, and floor processing
The XIIW 3800W concrete grinder with 180-mm grinding cup is a practical solution for grinding and preparing larger concrete and screed surfaces. The long guide handle, wheels, adjustable speed, and extraction hood enable controlled and comparatively low-effort operation.
Safety notice: Use the device only with the protective hood correctly installed and a suitable grinding tool. Wear safety glasses, hearing protection, respiratory protection, work gloves, and safety shoes while working.
